All Dog Rescue Scotland are a passionate, dedicated organisation committed to rescuing and rehoming animals in need, with a focus on dogs and now cats as well. Our mission is to give these animals the second chance they deserve, finding them loving homes across Scotland.

Our Story
Our journey began in December 2018 when Emma, our director, felt a calling to foster after leaving her job at SSPCA in Cardonald. A simple Facebook post featuring a little red dog from Small Dog Rescue Sussex (SDRS) caught her attention, and she reached out to offer her help. Initially, SDRS told her they didn’t adopt in Scotland, but Emma persisted, driven by her desire to make a difference.

By 2019, Emma’s passion led her to establish All Dog Rescue Scotland (ADRS), breaking away from SDRS to create a local organisation with a broader reach. This move allowed us to save even more dogs.  As of today, we have successfully rehomed 1,668 animals, including a growing number of cats.

Our Growth
What started as a small team of around six volunteers has grown into a dynamic network of volunteers and supporters. We now have several specialised teams, including transport, fostering, welfare, home checks, admin, event volunteers, and kennel walkers. Our volunteer family has expanded to over 60 incredible people, all united by the love for animals and the shared goal of helping as many as we can.

Our Commitment
At ADRS, we don’t just save lives, we ensure that every animal that comes into our care is given the best possible chance at a happy, fulfilling life. From the moment they arrive with us, we provide them with medical care, attention, and love. Our dedicated teams work tirelessly to find the right homes for each animal, ensuring a smooth transition for both the pet and their new family.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. With the support of our volunteers, partners, and donors, we’re excited about the future and the many animals we’ll be able to help in the years to come.
